:
http://shop.discdogfreaks.com/index.php?main_page=indexTam prodajajo celo nek "Jawz Ugly Disc"
)
Gre kdo zraven? Bosquito, kje si??? Za dodatno informacijo prilepim tukaj odgovor od ceskega organizatorja na mojo sporocilo.
Hello Jean,
that is GREAT that also Slovenia joins the dogfrisbee :-)
1. As many people has simular problems with discs and in my opinion the
dogfrisbee is first of all about the fun, all kinds of discs (I mean discs
for dogfrisbee) are allowed (so Jawz X-comp is not a problem)
2. The rules are USDDN rules. It means 10, 20, 30, 40 yards > 1,2,3,4
points, 1/2 point for catch in jump > 90 seconds > 5 best throws. In Super
minidistance there are 2 rounds and the total from both is the result. I am
thinking about that if anybody is competing in freestyle as well (2 rounds
freestyle + 1 round minidistance) he can take the minidistance score as one
of those for Super minidistance (to save dogs from tiredness)...
3. this could be the only little problem as my idea is to maky competition
on the place where I expecte many spectators, the Prague competitions are
held in one of the park in the center of the city. There some campings not
far but they do not take any reservations.... Under this link you can find
them:

age=1&searchPort=131889996_135054537_133802828_136802505
4. We have some special offer from Hero so there are going to be sold
discs - only for competitors in limited number for special price (50 kc -
less then 2 Euro) and also I will sell the products from my shop
(
http://shop.discdogfreaks.com/)
As you know maybe, the competition is judged under Sabine and Marcus and
they promissed to make some show too :-)
Will by pleasure to see you in Prague :-)
If any more questions, pls write me..
Regards
Jakub

Hi Jakub,
I heard about the Prague competition via the European discdog list. I
live in Slovenia and am interested in doing discdog with my border
collie. I have never been to a competition before, but I just returned
from a seminar with Karin Actun, and I am thinking about doing another
seminar with Sabine Bruns and MarcusWolf next month.
Can you give me more information about the Prague competition? Some
questions:
1. What kinds of discs are allowed? I use the Jawz X-comp with my border
collie and my daughter's Australian shepherd, because the harder discs
tend to hurt and bruise their mouths and tongues. I do have a few
Competition Standard discs, but I don't use them because our dogs don't
like to catch them. The Superhero discs are quite nice, especially for
distance (better than Jawz) but I don't have any at the moment. Could I
compete using the Jawz?
2. What are the rules for super minidistance?
3. Is there an inexpensive place to stay (with dogs) nearby? Or a place
to pitch a tent and camp?
Thanks in advance for your help.
best regards,
Jean
