Ne znam razlagat po slovensko--in time trial the dog has to make two twenty-yard catches in succession; fastest time wins. Both dog and person have to be behind the start line at the beginning; you make a throw beyond the twenty yard line, the dog catches it and returns with the frisbee, you make another throw, the dog catches it, and time stops when the dog crosses the line with the frisbee. If the dog misses a catch, you keep throwing until you get two completions (obviously this takes a lot longer). For example, Lyra missed the second throw, caught the third, so her time is significantly slower than Oli's and the other dogs that made two catches in a row. A throw shorter than 20 yards doesn't count. A throw longer counts but takes more time. So the trick is to place the frisbee just beyond the 20-yard line, make a successful catch, run it back as quickly as possible, and give up the frisbee immediately to the thrower for a second throw. Some dogs like to hang on to the frisbee so you can lose a lot of time trying to pry it from their jaws.
I'm curious to see if Oli is still faster than Lyra if Lyra were to make two catches in a row. Oli is very quick, both turning and running back, and she catches the frisbee lower to the ground, which saves time (Lyra's style is to jump way high into the air), but Lyra is also pretty fast and she gives up the frisbee and sets off for the next throw more quickly than Oli.
Maybe we'll find out at the next competition!
